OK I know I've done a ton of blog entries today due to the PBFH (no the drive isn't working in my system- Yet) but I ran across a plesent distraction. This column, and even more specificaly this picture and the piece about it. And now that you've looked at the photo without lookingat the part refering to it, yes that is an Apple ADB mouse with 2 buttons and no its not a recase.
I can just hear those of you who don't have a USB mac and don't want to find a multi button ADB mouse, you're saying "Wow, how do I do that" The answer is "Not with a Mitsumi based model". After reading it I dug up a couple of my "soap bar" mice and ripped them apart. Unfortunatly for me I had two Mitsumi OEMs and after some probing around I could only get the single button to work. I suspect that the logitech models are the ones being refered to but I'd have to find one in my collection and test that. Still its a very cool idea.
