- Q: How long with it take to get my carport delivered after I place my order?
- A: Usually it takes 2-4 weeks from the time the order is recieved from the dealer, and no longer than 6 weeks.
- Q: Can I save money by buying my carport directly from Carolina Carports, Inc.?
- A: No, We are very loyal to our many dealers and feel that you will better understand our products if you can see them first hand at your dealer's display.
- Q: I'm pouring the cement slab for my carport. What size to I need to make it?
- A: The slab should be 3/4" wider and 1' shorter in length.
- Q: What are the dimensions of the carport, outside to outside?
- A: We measure out carports in Width x Length x Height. Example: 18 x 21 x 6
Length dimension measured by the roof metal having a 6" overhang on each end of the bottom base rail is one foot shorter than the roof. Width is measured from the outer edge of the base rail to the other edge of the base rail. - Q: What is the highest leg hight I can order.
- A: Generally the highest leg height we provide is 12' Higher legs can be ordered with special approval.
- Q: What margin of adjustment will I have to level my carport?
- A: You will have about 3 to 4 inches to adjust with.
- Q: Can I add options to my carport after it has been installed?
- A: In some situations. We only provide materials for CCI carports. For all post-instalation additions, there is a $50 service charge. If you are adding walk-in or garage doors your carport must have been installed with legs taller than 6'
- Q: What types of anchors are used by CCI?
- A: We use three different types of anchors:
- 1. 3' rebar anchor for ground and asphalt installations
- 2. Double helix mobile home anchors for an additional charge or standard with certified carports on ground installations only
- 3. Wedge anchors for concrete installations
- Q: What is the pitch in the center of the carport?
- A: The pitch varies depending on the width of the carport. With majority of our products it could be from 2 1/2' to 4'
